Pinnacle Holding Company, LLC has appointed Bridget Ball Shaw to its Board of Directors
October 09, 2013
Bridget Ball Shaw has been appointed a Board Member for Pinnacle Holding Company, LLC, a Financial Services provider and parent of Pinnacle Investments, LLC an investment broker-dealer with offices across Upstate New York. “I’m thrilled,” said Ball Shaw. “I moved my practice to the Pinnacle Investments subsidiary in February 2011 because I was so impressed with the enthusiasm of the management team and the capabilities of the firm. Naturally, the invitation to join the board is a tremendous honor.”
"We’re very excited to have Bridget join us," said Board Chairman, Gregg Kidd. "We’re confident that her experience and perspective will add to the considerable growth momentum we are experiencing. Employees like Bridget are the reason Pinnacle was recently named the Best Place to Work in Central New York based on independent research by Research Marketing Strategies” said Kidd.
“I think the reason we are so successful in attracting the high level of talent to our ranks is our business model,” said Eric Krouse, Chief Executive Officer of the Pinnacle Investments subsidiary. “Our employees are shareholders in the company, which fosters a culture that believes in providing outstanding financial representation for our clients. That means we don’t impose quotas or other requirements that may conflict with client interests.” said Krouse. Ball Shaw, who helped establish the firm’s Albany office, pointed out that the firm has begun accepting applications from established advisors in the Capital District. “We’re looking for dedicated advisors whose commitment to integrity and client service matches our own” said Ball Shaw.
Ball Shaw has over 14 years of experience in the Financial Services industry and holds a Masters Degree in Finance from RPI as well as the series 7, 65, 63 and NYS insurance licenses. She is a member of the board of directors of The Legal Project in Albany and a member of the Capital Campaign Committee for Unity House in Troy. She teaches “Women and Wealth” at The Sage Colleges and “Women in Business” at Empire State College.
